The Academic Hibernation, Procrastination~

Lost again, not fine

Locked away by mind

Too long no sleep, confine

Thy thoughts are misaligned

I dreamt of barley grand

and bed as soft as flight

yet pens and work assigned;

a task without delight

Push through what must be done

Lest I repeat the crime

and leave a work, begone!

or hide until the end of time

Alas! That time has come where all was calm

For us, with right, to hibernate and oh, drink rum!

Sa aming pagpasok sa parihabang sinasayawan ng makulay at lila

Tumatambad sa amin ang galak ng katauhang pinagdiriwang mabuhay

Kami ang lupon na baliko, mga anak na iba ang hubog, pero'ng may busilak na puso

Subalit sa gitna ng kilusan; mga salitang taglay ay istoryang may luha't dinungisan

ang parusa sa makataong hindi tao sa mata ng ibang tao

Ganito na ba tayo sa lupang mahinahon?,

na ang payapa ay kamit, ang ligaya'y sumalangit, at tuwa'y lagpas labi

sa paghugas sa lahing parehas at iba ang damdamin?

Sa aming paglabas sa parihabang tinulugan ng pula,

may tulo ng buhay na parang kay Hesus na nagpawalang-sala

at sa salita ng naniniwala talaga sa kanya,

ang Anak ay pinaslang ng kapwa niya pareha

Our Last Breath

Two trees stand up a hill

Last freezing barks of cone

trembling, away from home

Together rigid still

Entwined to roots by will

Unseen His rotting spine

Our bond, slipping and gone

Last tree atop the hill

Long of a time cast cold

A pine grew small to soil

beside a seed so old

Awaits what fate warmth hold

Destiny ends it all

Two trees grew and went home
